Odyssey – the art & science experience for kids!
July 7 – 11
9 AM - noon

This new twist on Vacation Bible School gives kids the chance to rotate through various science stations while learning about the miraculous power of Jesus.

The art options give kids the chance for some self-expression centered on what they’re learning about God and faith.

Could you help introduce kids to Christ??

We are looking for adults who would be willing to be lab guides taking kids from station to station, people to lead out in each station (Bible study, recreation, etc.), and adults who would lead or assist with our art options (twirling, choir, drama, cheerleading, visual arts (painting, drawing, etc.), sculpture, and coloring.)

This short-term opportunity to serve God while serving kids might just whet your appetite for more!!

"Everyone’s called to youth ministry – some people just don’t know it yet!

There is a place for everyone in student ministry – even if you’re afraid of teenagers. (And by the way, kids are like dogs – they can sense fear…but you can fake them out with a steely stare and bigger-than-them stance!)

Try it on for size – May 28th from 6 – 8 PM – Summer Explosion Youth Carnival.
We’ll have a karaoke stage, field games, inflatables, and more. It’s a one-time, easy way to try on youth ministry for size and serve God at the same time.

Christ Point Welcome Center

Did you know the Christ Point Welcome Center has talked with hundreds of guests at CPC and given away over FIFTY bibles just since January? WOW! The Welcome Center volunteers answer questions, give out literature, give directions, warmly "welcome" our guests, and so much more. Stop by the Welcome Center and tell them how much you appreciate their hard work and passion for our guests at Christ Point.

I've said it before and I'll say it again...Christ Point Volunteers are simply the best!

Talented Twelve

Part of our Easter service at Christ Point, Jesus In Real Life, includes a Living Last Supper. We held our first rehearsal tonight and it was great! I appreciate our actors coming out in the middle of a busy work week and giving of their time to prepare for Easter. Some of our actors have never done anything like this before and they're stepping out of their comfort zone. What an example you are! You guys are the best!

I can't wait for you to see what we have planned this year. This is definitely a service you'll want to invite your friends, neighbors, and coworkers to. I'm so pumped about Jesus In Real Life!

Make sure you pick up your invitations this Sunday. We have small, business size invitation cards you can carry in your purse, wallet, school backpack, etc. and hand out to those you come in contact with. These will be available this Sunday. Also, don't forget the time change!

You know what? Sometimes life is great. Things just couldn't be better. But sometimes life just absolutely stinks. Sometimes life is so hard I just don't know how I'll get through it. Life isn't always a pretty little package all wrapped up with a bow. Join us as we discover Jesus in REAL Life at Christ Point Church on Saturday, March 22 at 7 p.m. and Sunday, March 23 at 9:30 and 11:00 a.m. You won't want to miss it!
